So over the last few weeks I have been doing research about the best ways to do business via Ebay. What I have found from five auctions of my own is that free shipping is the way to go. People look at that free shipping like it is a discount which gets your page a lot more views and watchers. I like to start my bids at .99 cents to attract more possible buyers. People like you and I are all looking for the best deals we can find so its no different for everyone else. When you see .99 cents you feel like you can win the bid for a low amount. Another huge part of getting people to look at your listings is to have GREAT titles with good keywords (there is a great free app available via the app center under My Ebay>Applications>Apps Center called Terapeak Keywords. Not only is the app free but it is very easy to use. Just type a word in your title and Terapeak will show you the average price that the keyword you entered is going for on ebay as well as the max price. Check it out in action below:
Another great app to use is Outright which will keep track of all your expenses, income, and taxes(in order for the taxes section to work you have to upgrade and pay a monthly fee). This app links your Paypal and Ebay accounts and keeps track of your shipping, fees, and all other expenses through Ebay and Paypal.
Froo! Cross Sell is a great app to get more views to each one of your listings. With Froo! Cross Sell you set it up to show a number of items on a scrolling bar at the bottom of a single listing description or you can select the option to post to all of your listings. Here is a screenshot of the set up page below:
The final app I would recommend to use would be the Ebay Listing Analytics. It will tell you how many clicks you have received, Impressions which are how many times your title showed up when somebody searched something, and shows some detailed sales information like the total number of items sold per listing. With these four apps i feel like they help tremendously for attracting people to your postings and making sure that you are attracting those people. I hope this helps you make some decisions to help your Ebay business or hobby.
Anquan Boldin, the former Baltimore Raven, was traded to the San Fransisco 49ers today. He was traded for a sixth round pick after Baltimore wanted to reduce his pay. San Fransisco will continue on with Boldin’s contract he had with the Ravens. The deal is not complete until Boldin completes a physical. This is some unbelieveable news especially after Boldin helped lead the Ravens to victory against the 49ers in the Superbowl. Torey Smith of the Baltimore Ravens was shocked and dissapointed when finding out the news about the trade. It seems that since Joe Flacco received his “Elite Quarterback” contract, Baltimore didn’t have enough cash left to fork over towards Boldin. If I was a Baltimore fan I would be upset with my teams decision to trade their leading receiver of the last three years. Anquan Boldin is a hard working athlete which is why he is up there with the great receivers in the league. I feel like the Ravens will regret this trade in seasons to come when they realize how big of a loss he truly is. How do you feel about this trade?
This is one very addicting game, especially when you create your own player! You have to start from the bottom of the totem pole and work your way up from the bench to the starting line up. Anyone who enjoys sports and video games could get into this one rather quickly. Not only were the graphics created with precision but the game play is very realistic so you have to play smart by: finding the open lanes and drive to the basket, pass the ball for assists, and wait for the open shots. This makes the game more fun for everyone because anyone who has played a basketball game in the past knows how frustrated you get when someone just sinks three’s all day.
It takes at least 2-3 seasons of game play in your career before you build your stats enough to become a starter and a decent player. As you play through the season you collect from each game a currency called VC, which stands for “Virtual Currency.” With VC you can purchase attributes that are applied toward your stats. Your stats consist of four main categories offense, defense, physical, and mental. Within each one of these categories are multiple stats that each cost a different amount of VC, the higher your stat is the more VC it is going to cost, so it is a good idea to save up enough VC to buy as many attributes as possible while they are cheap. You can also spend your VC on Signature Skills. Signature Skills are skills that give you a certain percent of chance to complete the task in which that particular skill pertains to. Another way to use VC is to purchase Legend Training Camps of any of the legends on the list. In these camps the “teacher” which is the legend you select takes you through a tutorial of how to do certain moves. After this training is complete, you receive several attributes for a few different stats. You obtain more attributes for a smaller amount of VC upon completion of the training camps. It’s the game we are stuck on playing right now so check it out and let us know what you think in the comments below!
So the pro bowl was last night.. After a quick scoring first five minutes, the game then started to slow down a bit.. A.J Green had a great second half after the NFC had possession for most of the game.. But my favorite highlight would definitely be when they allowed Jeff Saturday (NFC) to snap the ball to Peyton Manning (AFC). It was a great thing because after all the seasons they had together in Indianapolis, and it being Jeff Saturday’s last game as a professional football player. It was just a really nice gesture. Lastly I would just like to note that they did play a lot more intense than last year. Which will hopefully show the commissioner that he shouldn’t cancel the future pro bowls…
